"Hi, this is Tina and Kelley. Some days we don't feel so dynamic.. I guess the dynamic part comes from knowing we have had a life long friendship. Yes, friends since childhood." We grew up in the same area, got married pretty close to the same time and we both married really entrepreneurial guys who drive us both crazy.

Tina has the boys and Kelley has the girl. AND both of our mothers homeschooled back in the "covered wagon " days as our moms said, you know when it was supposedly illegal to homeschool in Texas. <Good grief>

Well we know it never was illegal but you sure felt like it was. If either of our younger sisters went out of the house before 3:00 p.m. they had to duck down in the car and there was ABSOLUTELY no way they would be out running during the day. Our mothers were incognito....LOL as they use to say.

Fast forward to today, and boy have things changed. No more ducking and being incognito, and aren't we glad.

Yep, you will find us not only on field trips with our kids, but at the post office, grocery store, library in the middle of the day, going on nature walks, not to mention helping hubbies from time to time with our businesses, you may even find us at each others house or maybe at lunch, with all of the kids, from time to time when we can squeeze it in.

We not only help our hubbies, teach our kids, take care of the house, but we also help new homeschoolers get started on their homeschool journey, we have a field trip/co-op group (closed due to size), not to mention putting together units and lapbooks for our kids that we share on this website. Whew, we're tired just thinking about it.

Really though, it is our friendship and being able to work as a team that enables us to take care of those all those things. We are more like sisters than just friends. We both love what we do and have that in common also.

We have a real desire to help newbies. We SO remember our struggles when we first got started homeschooling and as time went on we realized what a need there is for support for the new homeschool parent. Out of that desire to help new bees came New Bee Homeschooler We are the founders of New Bee Homeschooler. We have found that by helping new bees that we have grown so much as homeschool moms. We've learned not only balance, but have been able to truly improve our own homeschooling.

This website came from a desire to share the work done for our children, because really each page you see here is what has been created by us in teaching our children. The wonderful thing about lapbooking, notebooking and unit studies is that you can continue to expand and add to them. One of our kids may want to branch off of a particular subject and wha-la we find ourselves creating a new page for this site or adding to a page already "finished".

Now Tina is the creative brains and Kelley is the "fine-tooth" comber. So most of the units you see have Tina's arms and hands and Kelley's fingerprints on them. We really are a team, each us of bringing our respective strengths to the table.

Teamwork, that is what it is all about.

Hopefully we can share some of our experiences with you or you maybe while you're here you can glean a tip or two to keep you plugging along.
